Mathematical resilience is a positive adaptation that allows people to overcome barriers that frequently present themselves when learning or doing mathematics.

There are seven areas of mathematical resilience, that all work together to give an individual the attitude and perseverance to do well in mathematics. 

​

This website aims to give information about mathematical resilience, as well as providing everybody the tools to measure and improve their own mathematical resilience so that in turn, they can develop and maintain an enjoyment of the subject. 

Users of this site will fall into one of three categories:

Individuals

Anyone can complete the mathematical resilience questionnaire without the need to register the site - your result will be shown instantly! Just click on the link in the top menu to begin.

If you wish to track your progress, then register as an individual to the site.

Teachers

Once registered using a validated school email address, teachers can:

  • Set up & edit classes

  • Invite students to classes

  • View student results

It can take up to 48 hours for a teacher account to be validated. 

Students

Students wishing to register to a school should be invited to register to the site by a validated teacher.
